Civil War🤨️

A growing sense of anxiety in the West has led to increased public and political discourse regarding the possibility of civil war, a prospect once considered unthinkable in mainstream politics.

Academic David Betz and various prominent figures have argued that Western nations, particularly Britain and France, face a significant risk of civil conflict driven by factors like economic stagnation, state decline and demographic change.

While the authors of the essay below acknowledge the severity of these underlying societal challenges, they argue that modern Western populations are largely “domesticated” and lack the psychological capacity to break from institutionalised politics to engage in sustained revolutionary violence.

Who really controls the US government?🤔️

After WWII, Americans celebrated victory. A new book argues the real power shift happened offstage – through the United Nations, Bretton Woods and unelected institutions voters never approved.

What if one of the most consequential transfers of power in modern history happened without an invasion, a coup, or a single shot being fired?

On this episode of Behind the Deep State, Alex Newman sat down with author and researcher Mel K to discuss her new book, ‘Infiltration Instead of Invasion’, and her investigation into the power structures that emerged from World War II.

Mel K argues that while Americans celebrated victory and the return of peace after WWII, a new international architecture was taking shape – one built around permanent bureaucracies, intelligence networks, powerful financial institutions and international organisations that operated beyond control by voters.

Newman and Mel K examine the origins and influence of institutions, including the United Nations, the Bretton Woods system and the Bank for International Settlements, as well as the role of intelligence agencies, international finance, diplomatic networks, and unelected technocrats in shaping the postwar world. Especially fascinating: The National Socialist (Nazi) connections.
