Jiang argues that the
late Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson and the Chabad-Lubavitch movement
have exerted outsized, under-discussed influence on U.S. and Israeli
politics and on certain billionaires. He traces this through: The 1996
Clean Break memo written for Netanyahu. The Jackson-Vanik Amendment and Senator Henry "Scoop" Jackson's relationship with Schneerson.
Documented meetings (Netanyahu and later the Adelsons seeking the Rebbe's blessing). Connections he draws to Mark Zuckerberg, the Kushner family, Trump, and Netanyahu.
He
interprets Chabad/Kabbalistic ideas as driving an eschatological
program: viewing the Holocaust as divine punishment, seeking
construction of a Third Temple, and treating certain wars (Iran,
Ukraine) and events (the fake Butler assassination attempt) as ritual or
prophetic steps toward messianic fulfillment. Some evangelical figures
around Trump, he notes, treat Trump in messianic terms. He links
Rothschilds, Jeffrey Epstein (including redacted 9/11-related files),
and other elite networks into the same picture.
